How to Copy Changes Between Two Files
Make two files match where you want them to: copy a changed block from one file to the other with one command, keep both versions of a block, or type into either file, then save. The changes go straight into the files you are comparing.

Steps
- Compare the two files and go to a difference, for example with Navigation | Next Difference.
- Choose a command from the Edit menu:
- Replace Block in Second File from First (Ctrl+F9) or Replace Block in First File from Second (Ctrl+F10) makes one side match the other. Use it for a changed block, and also to copy a block that exists on only one side, or to remove it.
- Add Block from First File to Second (Ctrl+Shift+F9) or Add Block from Second File to First (Ctrl+Shift+F10) adds the other file's lines and keeps the file's own, so it ends up with both versions.
- Or right-click a difference and choose Replace Block in OTHER File, Replace Block in THIS File, Add Block to OTHER File, or Add Block to THIS File. Copy Line To Other File (Ctrl+Shift+L) copies just the current line.
- You can also type in either file directly, or copy and paste between them.
- Choose Files | Save | Save Both Files (Ctrl+Shift+S), or save one file with Save First File (Ctrl+F11) or Save Second File (Ctrl+F12). To see what is still different, choose Files | Re-Compare Files (Ctrl+R).
Questions
Can I keep the original files unchanged?
Yes: save the result under a new name with Files | Save | Save First File As or Save Second File As. To combine two files into a separate output file, use a merge and leave Center/base empty (Master edition).
Which edition do I need?
Copying changes between two files works in both the Standard and Master editions.
