ExamDiff Pro 17 Beta
The beta release of ExamDiff Pro version 17 is now available for download. It includes the following changes compared to version 16:

- Improved text rendering and styling, using DirectWrite to draw and navigate strings in text comparison and merge
- Reengineered Office document support (DOCX, XLSX, PPTX) for much more robust and precise conversion to text
- Enhanced update checking, including in-app update support
- Ability to compare ANSI files with non-default code pages, such as Shift-JIS
- Syntax highlighting, previously limited to colors, now supports font effects: bold, italic, underline, and strike-through
- Added VHDL document type with full scope bar support and syntax highlighting

- Better behavior of "Copy adjacent ignored lines when replacing diff blocks"
Bug fixes:
- Multiple bug fixes
Our beta releases and release candidates are robust and well-tested. They include complete Help files, and the only major differences from final releases are the frequency of new builds (much higher for betas) and flexibility in making minor changes (greater in betas). Feel free to try this beta release and enjoy the new features of ExamDiff Pro.
If you purchase this beta of ExamDiff Pro, your license will be valid for the final release of version 17. Each license includes at least one year of free upgrades (or more, depending on the number of maintenance years purchased).
